I’ve finally awoken from the chrysalis of the Christmas limbo. That disorientating week after the festivities and before we go back to work. My fluffy pink robe has been relinquished from daytime use and I’m back in actual clothes.
I’m starting 2019 with Self Care at the very forefront of my mind. After all you have to practice what you preach. I’ll be over on all of the social media channels sharing a different card each day. I’m going to try and incorporate it into my day and show you how I’m using it.
If you’re not quite sure what self care is, it’s defined in the dictionary as “the practice of taking action to preserve or improve one’s own health”. Health isn’t just physical, its all encompassing, its mental, and its spiritual. Its feeling good from the inside, from the soul.
Everyone takes pleasure in different things. This is what makes Nudge Cards so great. They cover EVERYTHING. From taking time to enjoy a hot drink, to going for a walk and getting out in the fresh air. They cover finding joy in the little things, and most importantly making YOU your priority.
With that in mind. I find writing down your goals makes it more achievable, and having mine, out here, in the public, means I HAVE to stick to it.
